Xuan Sports concluded our annual Wushu Mock Competition yesterday sucessfully.

The Wushu Mock Competition is a key event for Xuan Sports, which serves as a warm-up for the upcoming National School Wushu Championships, as well as, a platform to fine-tune our athletes' routines.

We had a total of 177 athletes competing in the individual events, and 17 teams for the Group Quanshu and Weapons events. This is excellent showing for our Mock Competition.

Can you identify the coaches in this picture?

The morning started early for our coaches, as they started the day preparing the logistics needed. Once the event started, there was no rest for them. Some of them were involved as judges for the competition, while others were busy gathering athletes and helping them with their warm-ups.

Our athletes too, worked hard for the day, preparing for their time on the competition ground. Many of the athletes had to compete in two individual routines, on top of the group routines they were involved in. Competing in more than two routines in a single day is no mean feat indeed. We are happy that our athletes were willing to work so hard for their events. Here are some exciting shots of our athletes.

We are very thankful to the teachers and parents who played important roles in support of the Xuan Sports Wushu Mock Competition. They have been the pillars of support in events like this. Their quiet contribution is deeply appreciated by the Xuan Sports family.

Special thanks to Mr Vincent Toh for contributing to the photographs here.

Finally, another important group of people is the students from River Valley High School. They were the perfect assistants working in the background to make our Wushu Mock Competition such a success.
